Loner, social outcast, headstrong. “Got a mouth on her”, yet kind with a curious soul. Zira always thought herself one of the common folk and sometimes behaves like it. This does not bode well at school where she is bullied by children from the other Royal Houses.

At age ten she was sent off to a monastery on her ancestral world of Sulafat. There she learned history, religion, and languages among others. Her passion, however, is sneaking off to explore dangerous caverns underneath the school.

The best cowardly friend you’ll ever have. A scientist at heart, Erasmus keeps a well stocked satchel for the unexpected adventure, getting lost, or the occasional broken bone. He is three years ZIra’s junior, and so finds himself in the midst of her exploits, willing or otherwise.

Erasmus attends school at “The Monastery” on Sulafat with Zira. There he is popular, but chooses to keep watch on his less than social cousin. His mother and Zira’s father are siblings.

Ambitious, well-educated, brilliant tactician. Largos is Zira’s older brother who holds a minor position in the Royal Court on the Capital planet Aladfar. He is well liked among the common folk due to his many charities, genuine empathy for suffering, and generous nature.

No matter what affair demands his focus, he always finds time to keep his close knit relations with his family.

Flamboyant, moody, psychotic. House guest and protégé to Largos Enlil-Zhor. Petros hails from a poor family indentured to a House Irogi mining colony at far borders with the Anuk Empire. His ambitions landed him straight to the court of the Aladfar Consortium.

He is loyal to Largos, and undertakes risky assignments doled out by his lord.

Humble, protective of his family, not interested in politics. Magnus is a direct descendent of the last prophet Lord Zhor and Lady Hannah. A practical man, Magnus choses to ignore the weight his family name carries in favor of keeping peace within the consortium.

He is married to the Sheliak Crown-Princess, a union which enrages the other Royal houses. Despite the lineage of his House, it is looked down upon since House Sheliak stole the throne nearly ten thousand years ago.

Fierce, proud, strong-willed. Farah is oftentimes the “whip” Magnus needs to navigate the harsh political landscape. She is set to inherit House Sheliak and the crown to the Consortium.

She shed her life of opulence in favor of her House Enlil-Zhor’s poorer disposition. Farah is well loved amongst the people, and is not afraid to take advantage of this fact. Nobles “suck-up” to her, currying favor for the future, yet like her husband, she puts her family first.
